Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP)

Do you have a modest income and a simple tax situation? If so, a trained Volunteer can help you complete your Income Tax and Benefit Return for free!

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is ran in collaboration with South East Grey Community Health Centre and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). This program provides community members who meet the eligibility the opportunity to have their income tax done locally for free!

We have trained volunteers who assist us during the Income Tax Clinics. We always ensure to keep taxpayers information confidential and secure to provide a trusted experience for each person we come across.

Income Tax Clinics

Income Tax Clinics run from March - April each year and are offered in the following locations:

Dundalk

Eligibility for Taxpayers

You may be eligible to have your taxes or benefit return done by the CVITP if;

Household income is less than:

$35,000 per year for 1 person
$45,000 per year for 2 people
Add $2,500 per year for each additional person (ie. 3 people = household income > $47,5000)
