Pickle Ball


The main goal for this game is fun! The rules are simple and the sport is adapted from tennis, ping pong and badminton. Come learn what all the excitement is all about. 

Call ahead and arrangements can be made to learn the basics, rally with others and enjoy the game.

Thank you to all the volunteers that help to run the program. To the Municipality of Grey Highlands and the Markdale Recreation Committee for their on going support. The Osprey pickleball group has celebrated their 8th year enjoying the game this year and the Markdale group have been going for 6 years. Well done!

Markdale ~ Centre Grey Complex (75 Walker Street) 

Monday evening - 6:00 - 7:30 pm or 7:30 - 9:00 pm

Tuesday afternoon -12:30 - 2:00 pm or 2:00 - 3:30 pm. 

Wednesday evening - 6:00 - 7:30 pm or 7:30 - 9:00 pm.

Thursday afternoon - 12:30 - 2:00 pm or 2:00 - 3:30 pm.

Sunday - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (ADVANCED Play)

Monday - 10:00 am to 11:00 am (Open Play), 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (Relaxed Play)

Tuesday - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (Open Play), 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (ADVANCED PLAY)

Wednesday - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (ADVANCED Play), 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (Open Play)

Friday - 9:00 am to 11:00 am (RELAXED Play ~ ideal for beginners)

 

Pre-registration is needed as sign up system is in place.  New players of all abilities are welcomed. Come and give it a try. Runnings shoes and light comfortable clothing are encouraged. Equipment is available to try.

Beginner lessons and Skills Building sessions are offered periodically ~ call or visit the website for updates.
